Sid has been active in various areas of the construction industry for over 50 years retiring after 18 years as the founding president of CLR Construction Labour Relations Association of Saskatchewan. He is currently Board Chair of the Laborers' Pension Find of Western Canada, Board Chair of the Funds Administrative Service Inc. (FAS) Group of Companies, headquartered in Edmonton with the Eastern Office located in Burlington, ON and a Western Region Management Trustee Director of the Multi-Employer Benefit Council of Canada (MEBCO). He has served as a management trustee on several other funds and as a Director on the Canadian Board of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). Sid's current activities are focused on advocating for changes to pension legislation in both Alberta and Saskatchewan to appropriately recognize Collectively Bargained Multi-Employer Pension Plans as Target Benefit Plans.
